I am thinking of getting this as a tattoo. I read that it means "oath to love for all ones' life"
Traduction
There are several problems with the suggested text. It means literally 'Oath to love all his/her life', but it's rather bad French. Firstly 'serment' is more of a legal oath taken in front of a lawyer, rather than a promise. 'aime' should be in the infinite as in 'aimer'. 'sa' means either 'his', 'her' or 'its'. You would have to use 'ma' which means 'my'. But even after these changes it would still wouldn't right.
Something more french would be:
Mon amour pour toujours which means 'My love for ever' or 'My lover for ever'
or
L'amour pour toujours which means 'Love for ever'
