Restrictions concerning the text to be translated

As this translation service is not automated, (i.e. translations are carried out by human translators), each translation is limited to 300 characters in length. You may however submit two separate translations within a 24-hour period.
Only English-French and French-English translation requests are accepted by this service.
We cannot follow up translation requests for:
- song lyrics
- school work
- poems and other literary texts
- historical texts or quotations
Insofar as all translations are archived and available online, the submitted texts must be neither confidential in nature, nor protected by a copyright.

Validation of your translation request

Responses are sent by email. Your email address will therefore be validated through the sending of a validation hyperlink before your translation request is sent to a translator. This is to avoid us realising, once the translation has been carried out, that the email address given is erroneous.
Once a translation request is submitted it must be validated within the next 5 hours, after which the request will be destroyed if no validation has taken place.

Your personal details

The personal information collected is not communicated to a third party except in the case of recognised abuse or legal obligation. In particular, we will not share nor reuse your email address.
